I am working on the procedure to migrate our AD RMS database from 2008 R2 to 2012. I have found the hotfixes for the the 2008 R2 Servers to function with 2012 SQL. I am following the migration guides from Technet (http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/887.relocating-the-ad-rms-databases-part-1-preparing-the-new-sql-server.aspx)
My issue is I do not see 'DRMS_ClusterPolicies' when I run RMSConfigEditor, nor do I see a table called DRMS_ClusterPolicies when I view the database 'DRMS_Config......:443'. There are no Tables at all, only views and no view with that name. I am looking on the current 2008 R2 database for ADRMS. The 2012 SQL is not built as of yet.
Is altering the registry entries on the AD RMS server enough for the migration?
